United Kingdom filings & disclosures.
Every annual, interim and ad-hoc report from 1,522 British listed companies — searchable, structured, free for the web. Same dataset, available via the API.
Public-company filings in United Kingdom are supervised by Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Reporting follows UK-adopted IAS / IFRS (listed); UK GAAP / FRS 102 (others). Filings are most commonly published in English. Major issuers are listed on FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and FTSE 350. Mixed — calendar, March, and April year-ends common.
UK disclosure — RNS, FCA, and the post-Brexit reporting regime
UK regulatory disclosure runs through two main pipes: the FCA's National Storage Mechanism (NSM) for cumulative regulatory filings, and the issuer's chosen Primary Information Provider (typically LSE RNS, plus PRNewswire, Globe Newswire) for live announcements. The FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules (DTR) and the UK Market Abuse Regulation govern timing and substance, with the London Stock Exchange's Listing Rules layered on top for Premium-listed issuers.
Post-Brexit, the UK retained the substance of the EU regime under UK-adopted IAS / IFRS for listed groups, with FRS 102 / UK GAAP for non-listed and small entities. The ESEF iXBRL mandate also carries over: Premium-listed annual reports must ship in iXBRL alongside the PDF, and we index both. Fiscal-year ends are unusually varied for UK issuers — calendar year is common, but March, June, September, and April year-ends all appear at scale, which spreads the annual-report flow across the entire calendar rather than concentrating it.
By disclosure volume, RNS announcements dominate: the live wire carries everything from director/PDMR transactions and voting-rights notifications under DTR 5 to acquisition announcements, profit warnings, and trading updates. FinancialReports ingests RNS and the FCA NSM, deduplicates, and indexes within roughly one minute, exposing every announcement as JSON metadata, Markdown body, and original PDF / iXBRL. Filing language is overwhelmingly English, which simplifies downstream NLP relative to multi-language European markets.
The practical upshot is that the UK delivers the highest live-disclosure throughput in Europe, the deepest historical archive for FTSE 100 / 250 issuers (consolidated reports going back to early 2000s, RNS history further), and the broadest sector range — from FTSE 100 mega-cap energy and financials through FTSE 250 mid-caps to the AIM growth segment.
