France filings & disclosures.
Every annual, interim and ad-hoc report from 760 French listed companies — searchable, structured, free for the web. Same dataset, available via the API.
Public-company filings in France are supervised by Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF). Reporting follows IFRS (consolidated); French GAAP (separate). Filings are most commonly published in French and English. Major issuers are listed on CAC 40, SBF 120 and CAC Mid 60. Calendar year predominant.
How French issuers disclose — AMF, BALO, and the IR ecosystem
French listed-issuer disclosure is governed by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), with the Bulletin des annonces légales obligatoires (BALO) handling certain statutory legal notices and the issuer's own investor-relations pipeline distributing price-sensitive announcements. Annual reports — the Document d'enregistrement universel (URD) for most CAC 40 and SBF 120 issuers — are filed in iXBRL under the EU ESEF mandate, alongside the traditional PDF copy.
The French disclosure year is anchored to a 31 December fiscal close for the majority of large-cap issuers, with annual reports landing between mid-February and late April, half-year interim reports in July–September, and Q1 / Q3 trading updates spread across the calendar. Beyond periodic reporting, ad-hoc disclosures under MAR Article 17 dominate the live volume: regulated-information press releases, voting-rights threshold crossings, and insider transactions. FinancialReports ingests AMF GEDAI-published filings, issuer wire distribution (Business Wire, Globe Newswire, ENGAGE, Actusnews), and the BALO statutory notices, deduplicated against each other.
Accounting standards split between IFRS for consolidated financials (mandatory for listed groups) and French GAAP (Plan Comptable Général) for separate entities. Most CAC 40 issuers publish in French and English simultaneously; smaller SBF 120 and Compartiment B / C issuers are frequently French-only, particularly for legal notices. The dataset preserves both language versions and exposes language metadata on every filing.
The headline practical implication is that France produces a structured, ESEF-tagged annual archive that pairs cleanly with the live ad-hoc stream — both indexed within roughly one minute of regulator publication. Each filing is available as JSON metadata, Markdown body (rendered on the public web pages and ready for programmatic consumption), and the original PDF or iXBRL for audit trails.
