Public-company filings in Belgium are supervised by Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA). Reporting follows IFRS (consolidated); BE GAAP (separate). Filings are most commonly published in Dutch, French and English. Major issuers are listed on BEL 20, BEL Mid and BEL Small. Calendar year predominant.

The Belgian listed-company landscape

Belgium hosts roughly 130 listed companies across Euronext Brussels's regulated market and the SME-focused Euronext Growth Brussels segment. The institutional-investable universe is structured around three headline indices: the BEL 20 (20 large caps, the benchmark), the BEL Mid (mid caps), and the BEL Small (small caps). Euronext Brussels is part of the pan-European Euronext group, which means the exchange and many of its issuers have deep cross-listing relationships with Amsterdam, Paris, Lisbon, and Dublin.

The BEL 20 is dominated by holding companies, financials, and healthcare — a composition that reflects Belgium's distinctive corporate model. AB InBev (globally the largest brewer), UCB (biopharmaceuticals), Solvay (materials, since its 2023 split), Ageas (insurance), KBC (banking and insurance), and Ackermans & van Haaren (diversified holding) anchor the index. GBL (Groupe Bruxelles Lambert), the Frère family's flagship investment vehicle, and Sofina, a long-term private-equity-style holding company, add further weight to the holding-company cluster that makes the BEL 20 structurally unusual by European standards.

FinancialReports tracks every Euronext Brussels-listed issuer (regulated and Euronext Growth Brussels), classified by FRCF / ISIC sector, industry group, and market segment. Cross-listing data is exposed on every company record — several Belgian issuers hold primary or secondary listings in Amsterdam or Paris, and AB InBev's US ADR programme adds a further dimension. Each company page surfaces the complete filings history, ISINs, ticker codes, and IR metadata, refreshed daily from FSMA and Euronext sources.

Euronext Growth Brussels captures a cohort of smaller Belgian issuers — real estate, tech, and industrial businesses — under lighter listing requirements but full MAR and FSMA disclosure obligations. New admissions, de-listings, and index rebalancings flow through the same ingestion pipeline as the main market, so a newly admitted issuer appears with its first regulatory disclosure indexed on day one, without manual curation.
