Xavier de Walque

Independent Director

Member of Aedifica’s Board of Directors and Audit and Risk Committee since March 2026

Xavier de Walque (1965) obtained a Master in Commercial Engineering at Solvay Business School (ULB).

Mr de Walque began his career as Adviser to the Belgian Deputy Prime Minister in charge of economic and tax affairs from 1988 to 1991. He then worked for 10 years at Cobepa (Compagnie Benelux Participations), a renowned Belgian investment company. Between 2001 and 2011, he occupied several positions within the Dexia banking group, including CFO of Dexia Bank (now Belfius) from 2009 to 2011, before rejoining Cobepa as CFO and member of the Executive and Investment Committees. From 2012 to 2024, he served as an Independent Director of AG Insurance, joining several Board Committees. Since May 2024, he is an Independent Director of Ageas, as well as Chairman of the Audit Committee and member of the Nomination and Corporate Governance Committee.

Xavier de Walque joined Cofinimmo’s Board of Directors in April 2009 as Director and member of the Audit and Risk Committee. He ended this mandate in March 2026 prior to taking up a similar position at Aedifica.
