Company Description

Valora Effekten Handel AG is Germany's oldest and, since the insolvency of its competitor AHAG Wertpapierhandelsbank, also the most important independent trading house for so-called "unlisted securities" - i.e. for shares, bonds and investment funds which are not traded on any of the legally regulated stock exchanges. The bank also trades in blocks of shares for which there is no securities prospectus (so-called "investor packages"), and in rights to subsequent improvement resulting from share settlements, the appropriateness of which is still the subject of pending court proceedings.
