Company Description

Carmila is the third largest listed shopping centre company in Continental Europe. It was created by Carrefour and major institutional investors to develop the shopping centres adjacent to Carrefour hypermarkets in France, Spain and Italy. Its portfolio consists of 214 shopping centres, most of which are leaders in their catchment areas, benefiting from the Carrefour brand and a loyal and regular customer base.

In partnership with Carrefour Property, Carmila is deploying an innovative strategy aimed at securing or strengthening the local leadership of its assets: a renovation plan based on the theme of "a family feel", a dynamic marketing strategy, the deployment of a marketing strategy aimed at supporting retailers in their local appeal, a large-scale extension programme, a policy of targeted acquisitions, and a solid, controlled financial structure.
