ADM Hamburg Aktiengesellschaft and its subsidiaries process soybeans and rapeseed into
vegetable oil and animal feed. The business is divided into three areas:

- The transshipment and warehousing business
Logistics for oilseeds and grain is operated in Hamburg and Magdeburg-Rothensee.

- The oil and fat refining business
This processes the oils and fats produced into specialty products for the food industry.

- The oleochemical use
Products for technical use in the chemical industry and as fuels are manufactured in the biodiesel plants in Hamburg.
