ESG RATING: WIIT AMONG THE WORLD'S TOP 50 SUSTAINABLE SOFTWARE AND SERVICES COMPANIES

Milan, 20th April 2022 – WIIT S.p.A. ("WIIT" or the "Company"; ISIN IT0005440893; WIIT.MI), one of the main European players in the market of Cloud Computing services for enterprises, focused on the provision of continuous Hybrid Cloud and Hosted Private Cloud services for critical applications, a company listed on the Euronext STAR Milan segment of the Euronext Milan market, organized and managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A., is positioned among the 50 best sustainable companies in the software and services sector, according to the ESG Rating elaborated by Sustainalytics.

The ESG Rating (or Sustainability Rating) is a synthetic evaluation that certifies the soundness of an organization related to it environmental, social and governance performance (and is to be considered complementary to traditional ratings defined exclusively on the basis of economic and financial indicators).

Since its listing, WIIT has embarked on a path of ecological transition with the aim of being included in the best sustainability indexes and of attracting investment from the financial community, which is looking with growing interest at these issues, differentiating itself in the panorama of Software and Services companies.

In order to consolidate its ESG commitment and to best seize the opportunities arising from the ecological transition, in 2020 the Group has launched an annual sustainability performance assessment process assisted by Sustainalytics, one of the most important ESG rating agencies worldwide.

According to Sustainalytics, WIIT, thanks to its effective management of material sustainability issues, demonstrates a low risk profile with respect to the possibility of suffering significant impacts deriving from non-financial factors. In addition to not having been subject to controversy in the ESG area, WIIT stood out for its high performance in the corporate governance area, receiving a rating of 14.8, equal to an ESG Risk "Low", the second degree of a 5-level scale ranging from negligible ("Negligible") to high ("High"). The result of the rating places WIIT's Sustainability Report in line with the best market practices, sign of a strong responsibility towards stakeholders. For this reason WIIT has been recognized as an ESG Industry Top Rated company by Sustainalytics, or rather one of the world's top 50 companies in the Software & Services sector.
