Jonas Arvidsson new CEO of BTJ
Jonas Arvidsson has been appointed as the new CEO of Ratos's subsidiary BTJ. His present position is CEO of Arbetslivsresurs (ALR).
Jonas Arvidsson, born in 1964, has a master's degree in engineering and a PhD from Lund University. He is currently CEO of Arbetslivsresurs. Previously he was a regional manager at Previa and held senior positions within engineering consultants Semcon and Cresita.
"Jonas has a broad and solid background as well as many years' experience of managing companies undergoing a process of change. This means that, in partnership with management, he will be well placed to develop BTJ," comments Chairman of the Board Per Samuelson.
Jonas Arvidsson will take up his position as CEO of BTJ in the first quarter of 2009.
BTJ Group is a leading supplier of media products and information services to libraries, companies and organisations in the Nordic market. Ratos's holding in BTJ amounts to 66%.
