Date March 17, 2009 More information Bart Gianotten Machteld Merens Telephone +31 (0)20 569 56 23 Randstad Holding nv, the world's second largest HR services provider, announces that it has decided to withdraw a proposal to the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) to update the remuneration policy for the executive board.

It had already been decided that base salaries of the executive board would not be increased in 2009. In view of the current economic circumstances and the proposal not to pay dividend on the ordinary shares, the scheduled changes to the peer group and the variable remuneration will now also be cancelled.
