Career Synthesis

Arne started his career as a corporate real estate Attorney at Eubelius with a particular expertise in legal matters affecting REITs and private and listed real estate companies. He has been heavily involved in the preparation and implementation of the Belgian regulations on REITs and assisted numerous real estate companies in M&A, ECM & DCM transactions. In 2015, Arne joined Xior Student Housing, the first and sole listed REIT in Europe focusing on student housing. As Chief Investment Officer & Compliance Officer, he was part of the Executive Management. He was responsible for preparing the company's IPO and supported the company's growth towards a portfolio of ca. 1,000 MEUR in Belgium and the Netherlands.

In 2019, Arne pursued his own entrepreneurial activities and in 2020 he founded Diggit StudentLife where he is CEO. Diggit StudentLife is active in various aspects of student housing. Diggit manages a student housing portfolio for third parties in Flanders and Brussels of around 1,200 units, with a clear focus on future proofing, well-being and connectivity. Diggit provides assistance to various public and private parties in the context of student housing projects and other related challenges. Diggit is also responsible, together with Stadim, for the publication of the "Kotkompas", the reference market report on Belgian student housing.
