FY23 interim results, strategic review update

Atomos Limited ( ASX: AMS , ‘ Atomos ’ or the ‘ Company ’) today provides an update in relation to the FY23 half year review and the strategic review announced to the market on 1 March 2023.

FY23 Half Year Review

Atomos is pleased to report that its auditor, Deloitte has completed their review of the Interim Financial Statements for the half-year ended 31 December 2022 and these financial statements have been lodged with ASX.

The Trading Update released to the market on 1 March 2023 detailed the weak first half trading results and management’s response to this. This included details of the cost reduction which has been undertaken, plans to progressively sell down inventory as well as debt management. It also highlighted the de-stocking undertaken by the sales channel in response to tightening economic conditions, and the fact that recent Atomos sales are significantly lower than channel sell-through, as reasons to expect an improvement in sales in the near term.

For these reasons the Company has prepared its financial statements on a going concern basis. Deloitte were unable to obtain sufficient evidence to support the Company’s revenue forecast assumptions and as a consequence have issued a disclaimer of conclusion on the half-year financial statements.

The Company is engaging with ASX regarding the timing and requirements for trading in the Company’s shares to resume.

Strategic Review

The strategic review announced to the market on 1 March 2023 is progressing well and the Board expect to be in a position to provide an update on the process by the end of April.
