CEO Transition

Highlights:

• Mr Peter Barber, current Atomos Chief Operating Officer, to be appointed Chief Executive Officer, taking over from Mr Jeromy Young, who will step down as of 3 May 2025 and remain on the Board as a Non-Executive Director

Atomos Limited (ASX: AMS) (‘Atomos’ or the ‘Company’) today announces an executive leadership transition as the Company continues to evolve and expand its strategic focus.

The Company is pleased to announce that Peter Barber, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Board Director, will be appointed as Chief Executive Officer effective 3 May 2025. He takes over from Jeromy Young, who will step down as CEO but will remain as a Non-Executive Director of Atomos, continuing to support the Company’s strategic direction.

Mr Peter Barber, appointed CEO, joined Atomos in February 2024 as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Board Director. With over 30 years of experience in the video production industry, including co-founding Blackmagic Design and leading significant M&A activities, Peter has been pivotal in driving operational excellence and strategic initiatives at Atomos. Peter has played a critical role in the Company's recent strategic initiatives. His deep understanding of the business and technology sectors and his proven leadership capabilities position him ideally to drive the next phase of growth and operational excellence.

Mr Jeromy Young, co-founder of Atomos, has been instrumental in the Company's development since its inception in 2010. He was CEO for over a decade, leading Atomos through significant growth and innovation phases. After stepping down in November 2021, he returned as Managing Director and CEO in January 2024 to guide the Company through a strategic transformation.

Commenting on the appointment, the Chairman, Mr James Joughin, said:

Commenting on the appointment, Mr Jeromy Young, said:

The role of COO will not be replaced and represents a further material cost saving to the business. Responsibilities will be shared between myself and the executive.
