Atomos announces board renewal

Atomos Limited (ASX:AMS) (the Company) announces that as part of its board renewal process CEO, Mr Trevor Elbourne, will join the Board as an executive director, effective immediately. The Board believes that strengthening management’s alignment with shareholder interests and directors’ governance obligations is a positive step for the Company.

Mr Elbourne was appointed the Company’s interim CEO in April 2022 and CEO in August 2022. He joined Atomos in 2012 as one of the Company’s founding employees and was elevated to Chief Technology Officer in 2017.

The Company has initiated a search for a new non-executive director who will transition to Chair in due course. The Company Chair, Mr Chris Tait, will seek re-election by rotation at the upcoming AGM in November and it is his intention to remain on the board until 30 June 2023.

Mr Tait has been a non-executive director and Chair of Atomos since September 2017 and became Executive Chair from May 2020 to September 2021.

Commenting on Mr Elbourne’s appointment to the Board, Chris Tait, Non-Executive Chair said: “I welcome Trevor as a fellow director who is deeply steeped in the Company’s strategy and critical to our future success. He will be a valuable addition to the Board.”
