Appointment of Directors to the Board of Atomos Limited
Atomos Limited (‘ ASX:AMS ’, ‘ Atomos ’ or the ‘ Company ’) is pleased to announce the appointment of two Non-Executive Directors, Ms Lauren Williams and Ms Megan Brownlow to its Board of Directors, effective July 1 2021.
As previously advised, Atomos identified the need to enhance the Board with additional experience and skillset for its forward plans. Consequently, a Board review process identified two highly talented NEDs who will compliment the existing Board and assist to drive Atomos’ strategic growth imperatives.
Specifically;
Ms. Lauren Williams
Lauren Williams is an experienced digital executive and business builder with a passion for consumer facing online businesses. Lauren sits on the Board as a non-executive director of online businesses: Cashrewards (ASX: CRW), Carbar (majority owned by IAG), and iSeekplant (backed by Seven Group Holdings and Macquarie).
Lauren has held positions at Fairfax Media and BBC Worldwide and launched Getaway Lounge (which went on to become Luxury Escapes). Lauren’s most recent executive role was as the CEO of CarsGuide, in which time Lauren significantly grew the business leading to the acquisition by USA based Cox Automotive.
Lauren joins the Atomos Board as a non-executive director.
Ms. Megan Brownlow
With more than 25 years’ experience in media, marketing and managing digital disruption, Megan’s most recent role was as a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Australia and National Industry Leader for Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT). Prior to PwC Megan held senior executive positions at PBL, ecorp, and the Nine Network.
Megan is a non-executive director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee for gaming software developer Mighty Kingdom (ASX:MKL), Deputy Chair of Screen Australia, Deputy Chair of the Media Federation of Australia and Chair of the Industry Advisory Board for the University of Technology Sydney’s School of Communications.
Megan joins the Atomos Board as a non-executive director.
Chris Tait, Atomos’ Executive Chairman said: “The Atomos team welcomes Lauren and Megan to our Board. Lauren and Megan have both proven to be dynamic and ambitious executives in their chosen fields, and we are delighted for them to join us as we further strengthen our Board of Directors.”
