Tucson Acquisition Corporation was a Capital Pool Company (CPC) established in 2012. As a CPC, its core business activity was raising capital through an initial public offering to identify and complete a Qualifying Transaction (QT) with an operating business, a structure designed to facilitate the public listing of a private entity. TAC completed its IPO in May 2012. Its mandate concluded in January 2013 upon the successful execution of its Qualifying Transaction, which involved the amalgamation with Entreprises Minières Du Nouveau-Monde Inc. (now Nouveau Monde Graphite Inc.). Following the completion of this transaction, the common shares of Tucson Acquisition Corporation were delisted, and the resulting entity continued operations under the Nouveau Monde name.
