Talvest High Yield Trust was an investment vehicle, typically structured as a mutual fund trust, focused on generating income through investments in high-yield fixed income securities. It operated as part of the Talvest mutual fund family. Following the acquisition and subsequent consolidation of the Talvest brand by CIBC Asset Management, the fund (or its equivalent, the Talvest High Yield Bond Fund) was formally merged into the Renaissance Canadian High Yield Bond Fund on August 17, 2007. The Talvest product line was unified under the Renaissance Investments umbrella, which continues to offer diversified investment solutions, including high-yield debt products and alternative strategies.
