North Energy ASA

The Company is an investment company, primarily focusing on industrial investments based on active ownership.

North Energy’s vision is to be a successful and respected investment company with focus on long term value creation.

North Energy was founded in 2007 with headquarter in Alta, Finnmark. In 2008, the company was pre-qualified as license owner on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS), and the year after as operator.

In 2015 the company started a restructuring process with head office being re-located to Oslo. Furthermore, in 2016 North Energy ASA became a holding company with an investment portfolio mainly focused on the energy sector, and in 2017 North Energy decided to discontinue its petroleum operations on the NCS.
