Developed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, the project aimed to alleviate traffic congestion in the National Capital Region. Although originally operated as a tolled facility, the company currently focuses on the management and upkeep of the expressway infrastructure following legal rulings regarding tolling rights.
