Company Description

The Latvian Basin Central Hospital was founded in 1944, which supervised all health centres and physicians on shipboard engaged within the maritime and fishery system. In early 1990s the Latvian Maritime Medicine Centre (LJMC) was established based on several objects of the Basin hospital. In 1997 Public Joint-Stock Company Latvian Maritime Medicine Centre was established as a result of privatization, which shares are listed on Riga Stock Exchange. Almost all shareholders are employees of LJMC.

The Latvian Maritime Medicine Centre is a certified, high-level and available to everyone private health care centre, which renders a wide spectre of outpatient services and planned hospital services, including surgery.
