Invesco Senior Income Trust is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Trust's primary investment objective is to provide a high level of current income, consistent with the preservation of capital. It seeks to achieve this by investing primarily in a portfolio of floating or variable rate senior secured loans issued by corporations, partnerships, and other entities. The portfolio consists mainly of securities rated below investment grade (high-yield). The Trust has adopted a Managed Distribution Plan intended to provide shareholders with a consistent monthly cash payment, which may be sourced from net investment income, realized capital gains, or a return of capital.
