Holding invests in companies within the financial services, retail, textiles, machinery and equipment, transportation, paper and food producing industries.

Holding "Sveta Sofia" AD was established in 1996 as a privatization fund with the aim of participating in mass privatization. In 1998, by a decision of the General Meeting of Shareholders, the Sveta Sofia Privatization Fund was transformed into a holding company under the Commercial Code. The shares of Sveta Sofia Holding AD are registered and traded on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange in the Standard share segment.
