Holding Sveta Sofia AD acquires, appraises, and manages shares, bonds, and the cession of licenses for patents. The Company specializes in the investment in and financing of other enterprises,in which it is a shareholder. Holding invests in companies within the financial services, retail, textiles, machinery and equipment, transportation, paper and food producing industries.

Holding "Sveta Sofia" AD was established in 1996 as a privatization fund with the aim of participating in mass privatization. In 1998, by a decision of the General Meeting of Shareholders, the Sveta Sofia Privatization Fund was transformed into a holding company under the Commercial Code. The shares of Sveta Sofia Holding AD are registered and traded on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange in the Standard share segment.
