ENKA İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş. was founded in 1957 by the late Şarık Tara and his late brother-in-law Sadi Gülçelik. (ENKA) is a global engineering and construction company. ENKA is headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey, and provides services in the following areas through its subsidiaries: - Engineering Design - Power generation - Real Estate - Trade Although ENKA is the largest construction company in Turkey, it has been part of ENR Best International Contractors since 1981. Dr. Mehmet Tara serves as the Chairman of the Board and Managing Director is the representative of the third generation of the Tara family, who has taken over the management of the company.
