The company has significant reserves of coal in the Donbas region of Ukraine and it works directly with most of the power generation plants, coking plants and steel mills in Ukraine. Coal Energy SA also has a growing export business, with a strong presence in countries like Moldova, Bulgaria, and Slovakia. The company's main exports are thermal coal, which it supplies to power generation plants across Europe.
