Created in 1881 to carry out the construction and operation of railway lines, CFD is today a versatile industrial holding company. CFD offers a range of machines spanning the rail transport market, including suburban and regional trains, locomotives and freight trains. The subsidiaries are currently organised into three divisions: a rail division, a supply chain division and an industrial techniques division. The Company invests in companies for which it believes that the contribution of its industrial methodology can be a source of strong added value in the organisations it takes over.
