YIT Corporation has on June 26, 2018 received an announcement under Chapter 9,
Section 5 of the Securities Markets Act, according to which the holding of
Virala Oy Ab has exceeded the threshold of 5 per cent. According to the
announcement, the holding had exceeded the threshold on June 26, 2018.

According to the announcement, the total number of YIT shares owned directly or
through financial instruments by Virala Oy Ab is 5.02 per cent.

YIT has one share series, each share entitling to one vote. The total number of
YIT’s shares is 211,099,853 shares.
