As a result of a share transaction concluded on July 10, 2008, the holding of Artio Global Management LLC (formerly Julius Baer Investment Management LLC) on behalf of several discretionary investment advisory accounts in respect of which Artio Global Management LLC acts as investment manager and has been granted corresponding proxy voting rights, has dropped below five (5) per cent of the share capital of YIT Oyj. In accordance with Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Securities Markets Act, we hereby notify the Financial Supervision Authority and YIT Oyi of the following:
