YIT issues a EUR 100 million bond

Helsinki, Finland, 2015-03-16 16:00 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- YIT CORPORATION STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE MARCH 16, 2015 AT 5:00 P.M. YIT issues a EUR 100 million bond YIT Corporation issues an unsecured EUR 100 million bond as a private placement targeted to two domestic institutional investors. The bond matures on March 25, 2020, and carries a coupon of 6.25%. The bond has a call-option and a covenant, according to which the equity ratio (IFRS) has to be at least 25.0%. ”The repayment of long-term debt maturing in 2015 has now been secured with the strong cash flow in the last quarter of 2014 and the proceeds from the bond issue”, says Group Treasurer Jukka Kalliomäki. Danske Bank acts as the coordinator and together with Handelsbanken Capital Markets as the lead manager for the transaction.
