WORKING COMMITTEE FOR YIT'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors of YIT Corporation has established a new committee
aiming to assist the Board in matters related to the business development of
YIT. The Working Committee will begin its operations immediately and convene
when necessary and invited by the committee chair.

The tasks of the working committee include addressing of matters related to
business development and preparing proposals for the Board of YIT. According to
its ratified rules of procedure, the working committee will address matters
related to Group strategy, business segment structure, business organisation
and significant investments.

The working committee members are Chairman Henrik Ehrnrooth, Chairman of the
Board of Directors, and Reino Hanhinen, Vice Chairman of the Board of
Directors, as well as Michael Rosenlew appointed by the Board of Directors from
among its members.

After establishing the working committee, the Board of Directors of YIT has
three committees: the Nomination and Rewards Committee, the Audit Committee,
and the Working Committee.
