SLOWING ORDER ACTIVITY AND UNCERTAINTY IN NORTH AMERICAN MARKET DRAGS BOOK-TO-BILL RATIO DOWN

Europe:

  • Truck unit sales development (up QoQ and stable YoY) starting to reflect recent order momentum; bus business up QoQ and YoY
  • Sequential upward order intake trend for trucks broken in Q2, but strong YoY increase; still too early to declare a turnaround

North America:

  • Continued low unit sales in a weak and declining market (but positive base effect at International due to mirror supply issue in Q2 2024)
  • Incoming orders severely suffering from reduced transportation activities, customer hesitation/uncertainty about import tariffs, US economy and EPA 2027 regulations

South America:

  • Unit sales and incoming orders down YoY, mainly due to Brazil, despite overall growth in the SA truck market
