Election of board of Solid Clouds hf

Since only five candidacies were received for the five-member board, all candidates are automatically elected. The three positions of alternate directors are considered filled, without opposition.

Andrea Olsen

Andrea Olsen holds an ML degree in Law from Reykjavik University and is qualified as a district court attorney. She has extensive experience as a corporate lawyer, including a tenure at LOGOS Legal Services. Currently, Andrea serves as Managing Director/CEO of Frigus ehf., a high wealth family office and holding company. Andrea is also a board member of several other companies, mostly in her capacity for Frigus ehf.

Davið Gunnarsson

Davið Gunnarsson studied Computer Science, Economics, and Finance at the University of Iceland and the University of Iowa. He has been part of the board since 2023. Davið has worked in various roles in the finance and technology industries, as well as for non-profit organizations. Davið serves as the Managing Director/CEO of Dohop ehf.

Eggert Árni Gíslason

Eggert Árni Gíslason holds a Cand.oecon. degree in Business from the University of Iceland and has been a board member since 2020. He has invested in startups such as CCP hf. and Fly Play hf., and is the Managing Director/CEO of Mata hf. Eggert also serves on the boards of several other companies.

Skúli Skúlason

Skúli Skúlason holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Iceland. With over 29 years of experience in aviation and airline operations, he has played a leading role in the founding of Airport Associates and Bluebird Cargo. Skúli has also held several key management positions throughout his career. Currently, he serves as the Managing Director of Express ehf.

Svanhvit Friðriksdóttir

Svanhvit Friðriksdóttir holds an M.A. degree in Public Relations and Public Communications from the University of Westminster and has been a board member since 2017. Previously, Svanhvit served as the Senior Vice President of Communications and Marketing at WOW air hf. and now works as a Public Relations Consultant and owner of SF Communications ehf.

Guðmundur Ingi Jónsson

Guðmundur Ingi Jónsson holds a B.S. degree in Economics from the University of Iceland and has been a board member since 2017. Guðmundur was the chairman of GreenCloud ehf., which was sold to NetApp in 2017, and is the Managing Director of Kjölur fjárfestingarfélag ehf., an investment holding company.

Ingólfur Ávarsson

Ingólfur Ávarsson holds an M.Sc. degree in International Marketing and Management from Copenhagen Business School and a B.Sc. degree in Business from the University of Iceland. With over 18 years' experience in the gaming industry, he has held key roles including Director of Customer Lifecycle Management and Analytics, Director of Customer Acquisitions at CCP hf., and Chief Marketing Officer at 1939 Games ehf. Currently, he is the CEO of Porcelain Fortress ehf., a gaming studio.

Ólafur Andri Ragnarsson

Ólafur Andri Ragnarsson holds an M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Oregon University and has been a board member since 2015. Ólafur is one of the founders of the gaming company Betware ehf. and helped found Raw Fury, a Swedish game publisher. Currently, he serves as the Managing Director of Klambratún ehf., an investment holding company.
