Pirelli management has identified a number of "Alternative Performance Indicators" ("APIs"). These APIs (i) are derived from historical results of Pirelli & C. The APIs presented herein are EBIT, EBIT margin, EBITDA, EBITDA margin, net income and net income margin.

In addition, this Presentation includes certain measures that have been adjusted by us to present operating and financial performance net of any non-recurring events and non-core events. The adjusted indicators are EBITDA adjusted, EBIT adjusted and net income adjusted.
