Elisa Markula has been appointed President and CEO of Oriola Corporation

Oriola’s Board of Directors has appointed Elisa Markula as Oriola Corporation’s
President and CEO. Elisa Markula will join Oriola from Tikkurila Group where she
has been working since 2018 as President and CEO. She will start in her new
position during the autumn 2021 on a date to be confirmed later.

“Oriola’s performance in the recent years has not been satisfactory. Therefore,
the Board of Directors expects the new President and CEO Elisa Markula to look
for and execute measures that improve profitability and operative efficiencies
as well as bring new opportunities for the company. Measures that the Board is
already assessing in this regard may also include acquisitions, divestments or
other structural arrangements in the company’s core markets and the new
President and CEO is expected to contribute strongly. We believe that Elisa
Markula has the solid experience to lead the company going forward. We warmly
welcome Elisa to Oriola,” says Panu Routila, Chairman of the Board of Directors
of Oriola Corporation.
