Biography Esther Berrozpe

Mrs. Berrozpe has a long and consolidated international trajectory of more than 25 years in the consumer goods sector. She has a recognized experience in the development and transformation of businesses and a strong track record of creating value through extraordinary results over time.

Prior to joining Ontex as an independent director in May 2019, Mrs. Berrozpe built a career in the consumer goods area through marketing and commercial roles at Paglieri, Sara Lee and Wella and senior leadership roles at Whirlpool.

During her long career at Whirlpool, Mrs. Berrozpe led different business units in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, driving Whirlpool's turnaround in these regions. In 2013 she was named President for Europe, the Middle East and Africa and Executive Vice President of the Group, positions that she held until 2018. In her most recent position, Mrs. Berrozpe had the full responsibility for its USD 5 billion business, overseeing over 24,000 employees, 15 industrial sites (including research & development and design centers), commercial operations in more than 35 countries and distribution to more than 140 countries.

Mrs. Berrozpe drove the turnaround of Whirlpool's North American business, improving the company's competitiveness and allowing it to strengthen its leadership position in the entire region. In 2014, she led the transformation of Whirlpool in EMEA through the acquisition and successful integration of Indesit.

Mrs. Berrozpe is a member of the Board of Directors of Pernod Ricard, Fluidra and Roca. She holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Deusto in San Sebastian, Spain. Through the Erasmus program she completed executive training in Economics and International Business at the University of Bergamo, Italy.

She holds the Spanish and Italian nationalities. In addition to her native language Spanish, she is fluent in English and Italian as well as proficient in French.
