Notification of Change of Auditor
NextEd Group Limited (ASX:NXD) (NextEd or Company) advises that Pitcher Partners Sydney Partnership (Pitcher Partners) has been appointed as auditor of the Company, with effect from today. This appointment follows the resignation of Hall Chadwick WA Audit Pty Ltd (Hall Chadwick) and ASIC’s consent to the resignation in accordance with section 329(5) of the Corporations Act 2001.
The appointment of Pitcher Partners follows a review of the Company’s external audit arrangements and the Board selected Pitcher Partners based upon their expertise and competitive fee structure. The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Hall Chadwick for its past assistance and services rendered to the Company.
In accordance with section 327C of the Corporations Act 2001, a resolution will be put before shareholders at the Company’s 2023 Annual General Meeting to ratify the appointment of Pitcher Partners as the Company’s auditor.
