Executive appointments

Digislide Holdings Limited (“Digislide”) is pleased to advise of the following executive appointments:

Chief Finance Officer

Digislide is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Jeff King as Chief Finance Officer. Mr King will operate out of the company’s headquarters in Adelaide.

Mr King is an experienced Chief Finance Officer with highly developed financial, commercial and risk management experience. A former partner with Ernst and Young, he has a track record of strong and successful corporate finance and deal assessments across a range of industry sectors including manufacture, retail, service and professional businesses.

Mr King has had extensive experience and hands on involvement in reconstruction of companies in the market capitalisation range from $5M to $1bn, including conducting due diligence for acquisitions and investigations involving detailed financial analysis and deal structuring.

Prior to his appointment with Digislide, Mr King was Chief Finance Officer to Carbon Alliance Group, a Green Environment Sector business.

Mr King spent 7 years in London working in Horizon Equity Consulting Pty Ltd, a private venture capital firm where he proved his professional and financial business acumen, through preparation of Investor Reports, providing investors a good Return on Investment and ensuring appropriate Exit Strategies for all parties. He was appointed Director and Chairman of UK Public Listed company Ezybonds UK Plc (Ofex Exchange London).

From 1998 – 2001 he was Finance Director of Tox Free Solutions Limited (Listed ASX:TOX Green Sector Company) during which time he restructured the unlisted public company to achieve a significant turnaround. Tox went from being under a Deed of Company Arrangement through successive capital raisings to eventual listing on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2001.

Prior to that Mr King was Investment Director with National Australia Investment Capital Limited and also held the position of Principal Advisor Australasia Asset Structuring to the National Australia Bank Limited.

The appointment of Mr King is considered by the Board to be particularly timely in the light of our expansion to US markets, and working capital initiatives.

Business Development Manager (Europe and Middle East)

Digislide has appointed Mr Ross James to the position of Business Development Manager (Europe and Middle East).

Ross has an extensive knowledge and experience of the Information Technology and Telecommunications and Consumer Electronics industries gained from his Business Development role with Samsung Electronics across Europe.

During this time Ross introduced $150 million of new business from global vendors to the Samsung Electronics Group that has enabled the company to increase its market share and produce innovative products. A recognised success within the company was the building of Samsung’s Digital Media business division’s local steel supply from a zero base to $50 million.

Ross developed key strategies relating to Mobile Handsets, PDA, TV, DVD, White Goods, Mp3, Laptop, Projector and other products and created ideas for suitable new potential products through collaboration with new technology companies, R & D and telecoms operators.

Ross also was an invited panel guest helping to aid business development of start-up companies at the prestigious gate2growth European Innovation events.

Ross’s ability to track market trends, report and generate new business, coupled with his extensive business network globally and wide range of knowledge in various electronic technologies will assist in positioning Digislide with its global expansion plans.

Ross was awarded a 1st Class Hons degree and masters in Manufacturing Engineering with Business Studies and Management from Brunel University, UK.

Prior to his work with Samsung, Ross was Senior Buyer for Europe with Westcon Group’s European Operations (Sector – IT Distribution), where he was responsible for 5 vendors over $2 million/ month, including Nokia, Proxim, Mitel and Avaya.

Vice President Sales – Digislide Americas

Digislide Americas, a fully owned subsidiary of Digislide Holdings Limited, is now extending its reach across North American markets with the appointment of Ms Eilish McCaffrey as Vice President Sales.

Ms McCaffrey has over 24 years in technology, sales/marketing and business development and has been a Venture Partner with Propel Partners and Digital Island Ventures.

Ms McCaffrey has worked for large multinational corporations such as IBM, Lotus Consulting and Johnson and Johnson Corporation; and has had 10 years experience in sales and marketing.

Ms McCaffrey held co-founding roles in several software startups such as Cygnus Solutions/Redhat; Arzoon; Digital Island; Exodus and Velocitop Technologies.

As part of a management team, she has helped secure funding for over 10 firms over the past 15 years through angel, strategic corporate or venture capital categories. Ms McCaffrey secured funding for several companies including Cygnus/Solutions which was subsequently acquired by RedHat.

Ms McCaffrey spearheaded open source in enterprise applications including Atlantes – RFID technology for supply chain; Velocitop Technologies – Performance and tuning open source module for automatic tuning and Chizam – a software platform for wellness and fitness.

Ms McCaffrey is a business professional with a sound reputation in Silicon Valley, and is a member of the prestigious ASTIA (leading women in IT). Her strengths in Technology, Marketing, Strategy and Development will assist in expanding the US base.

In her most recent position with Johnson and Johnson Corporation she achieved 100% attainment of sales goal and 4000% growth in 2007. She was awarded the Platinum Astrum Award for 2006 sales performance and strategic business development success in Kaiser, UC-Davis, and D5 $500,000 conversion outside of territory. In 2004 she received the Teal Diamond Sales Award for outstanding sales performance – which she had earned after only six months as fulltime specialist in field.

Ms McCaffrey will also assist Digislide Holdings Limited (parent company) in envisioning strategic developments for The Americas’ markets, in negotiations and collaboration with global brands. She will lead all marketing and sales efforts in the Region.

Eilish holds a Masters of Science Degree, Summa Cum Laude, Software Engineering, from Iona College of NYC; and a Bachelors of Science, Mathematics\Computer Science and Chemistry, from Manhattan College of NYC also Summa Cum Laude.
