Appendix A – Chairman’s presentation
Ladies and Gentlemen,
The achievement was listing last August.
We listed. Our price is low. There are a number of reasons – the Global Financial Crisis is one. But there are others; in the lead up to listing the pool of investors who, for various reasons, simply want to change the mix of their investments grows. In our case the time taken to list was longer than usual and, not unexpectedly saw the pool of investors wanting to sell grew – the result was a post listing downward pressure on price.
Our Managing Director and her team is working to build the business and with it a recognition of its inherent value – that shared vision and the commitment to deliver is an important part of the suite of capabilities that are needed to deliver success; the other is a product range; we have a fabulous product range. Consider, and I promise not to steal our Managing Director’s thunder:
-
Manta Ray introduced in 2003,
-
Digishow introduced a few months ago,
-
miniPro to be introduced in 2011 and to my way of thinking a real show-stopper, and
-
then WeSii - a companion product for Apple and Xray a companion product for the Xbox .
The range is a testament to what can be achieved with unswerving commitment to practical research and development. On any measure it is the dream range with which to launch in to the miniature projection market; a market that’s just opening up with a speed that is breathtaking; a market that, standing here today and, forgive the excitement, appears to be limitless. What is exciting is the realization that our Company is there at the very beginning and that is a great place from which to build shareholder value.
I will now hand over to our Managing Director to tell you what the future holds for our shareholders.

Appendix B – Managing Director’s presentation
You have received the Annual Report for 2008-2009, in which the company announced an unaudited loss of $314,000 for the year ended 30th June 2009.
Digiside continued to develop its intellectual property despite a very difficult year financially, and achieved our goal of listing on the ASX with an IPO of $3,008,000 – in addition to this we raised in excess of $2.4M to assist in its commercialisation of products.
Since that time the company has made several announcements, with a further announcement being made to day, regarding market entry to the Eastern European markets.
Overview 2008-2009 – aligning Stated Goals with Performance
Digislide’s Board and Executive Management rode some very high waves over the last 12 months, but we are well positioned to be propelled forwards.
We have not achieved all the goals that we set last year, but we have achieved most and none of them has fallen to the ground.
We attended a number of trade expos and Mr Tim English, Chief Marketing Officer is to be congratulated for the way in which he has positioned the company globally, with a minimal budget. We now have three OEMs in Shenzhen, China which should enable us to keep up with the anticipated ramp up of production that will be required over the next two years.
Future Directions - Goals for 2009-2010
Our future directions are in line with our 5 year plan, and include enhancing and further reducing the size of our optical engines, for embedding in laptops, mobile phones, PDA, GPS and other display devices.
We will be bolstering our staff in the Research and Development, Commercialisation, Finance and Administration areas, as we move forwards in our national and global expansion.
Key Goals are:-
-
Appoint a Chief Finance Officer – Mr Jeff King is now appointed - and support staff
-
Appoint additional Marketing and Sales personnel
-
Secure several retail chains and smaller retail outlets for Digishow™ - we now have several smaller retail outlets and one national chain stocking our product, and anticipate that several other national chains will join our customer list in the next few months
-
Commercialise miniPro®, and utilise existing retail channels
-
Finalise development and commercialse XRay™, WeSii® and DigiPRO™ projectors and the respective audio docking stations (which you will also see demonstrated today), StingRay™ and utilise existing retail channels and additional gamers retailers
-
Finalise development of docking station for Digivision™ - the Portable Media Player being designed under licence with a global brand – goal of 50 ansilumens and satisfy all requirements to gain Stage IV of the licence agreement

-
Pursue field sequential colour optical engine design for pico and embedded optical engines to satisfactory design of 15-20cc and 8-10cc modules and a range of other technical goals
-
Obtain additional financing to enable rapid penetration of global markets
Today we have announced our market entry plans for Eastern Europe. This should not be underestimated, as the Eastern European economy is said to be equal in size to the US market.
There are several other announcements that we anticipate in the near future, and all we can say is “Watch this space”
Thank you for your continued support of Digislide.
