Appointment of Chief Financial Officer
Mineral Commodities Ltd (“ MRC ” or “ the Company ”) (ASX:MRC) is pleased to advise that a new Chief Financial Officer, Trevor Harris has been appointed and will take up responsibility for this critical role on 1[st] June 2024.
Mr Harris is a qualified accountant with twenty-five (25) years of financial experience, with the most recent twelve (12) years at CFO level. This experience has been with both small cap and mid-tier companies with market capitalization up to $1.2B. Importantly, Trevor has worked in Australian public companies managing international finance teams of up to 70 staff in Australia, Africa and Indonesia.
Trevor replaces Adam Bick who has been with the Company for seven (7) years and is leaving the organisation to pursue other opportunities.
The Company’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Scott Lowe commented:
“MRC is undertaking a process of transformation, having recently announced a process aiming to divest its interest in minerals sands and become a company focused exclusively on graphite production and development as well as advancing its active anode project. We are very pleased that Trevor has joined us at this exciting time and confident he will make a valuable contribution to the restructuring process and the value growth the Company is seeking to generate.”
