MARTIFER INFORMS ABOUT SALE OF WIND PROJECT PORTFOLIO

Martifer, SGPS, S.A., publicly traded company ("Martifer"), hereby informs that its associated company Ventinveste,S.A. ("Ventinveste") has reached an agreement with EDP Renováveis for the sale of five companies, holding certain licenses and interconnection rights corresponding to a total of 216.4 MW of wind energy capacity, for a reference price of around €17.000.000.

Completion of this transaction is subject to approval from administrative and competition authorities in Portugal.

Ventinveste, a consortium led by Martifer and Galp Energia, is focused on a wind project portfolio with 12 MW in production and a 50% share on Âncora Wind project, with 176.1 MW under construction, set to start production in 2016.
