Iren Group completes the acquisition of Bosch Energy and Building Solutions Italy S.r.l.
Reggio Emilia, 30 November 2021 — Today Iren Smart Solutions SpA, fully controlled by Iren SpA through Iren Energia, has completed the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Bosch Energy and Building Solutions Italy Srl, a company operating in the energy efficiency sector also as ESCo (Energy Service Company) in the design, construction and management of integrated heating, air conditioning and cogeneration systems for public and private customers, managing significant contracts in the hospital sector.
The strategic rationale of the operation lies in the complementary nature of the activities carried out by Iren Smart Solutions SpA and Bosch Energy and Building Solutions Italy Srl. The latter, in fact, has a strong experience on EPC contracts (energy performance contract) for large companies, is active in the cogeneration market, in the energy efficiency of the tertiary sector, has expertise in the building automation sector both in the real estate and in the health sector, and thus completes the skills and customer base of Iren Smart Solutions SpA.
The transaction has an Enterprise Value of about 9 million euros. The commercial actions and the ambitious plans of technological and project development that Iren Smart Solutions will be able to integrate in its range of services will allow a future growth of Bosch Energy and Building Solutions Italy Srl profitability.
