PRESS RELEASE

IMMSI GROUP: INTERMARINE ORDER BOOK GROWS TO AROUND 200 MILLION EURO THANKS TO NEW CONTRACTS

Milan, 29 November 2018 – Immsi S.p.A. (IMS.MI) said that its subsidiary Intermarine had increased its order book as a result of new orders. The value of current contract work in progress is approximately 200 million euro.

Intermarine is a shipbuilder active in the military and civil sectors.

In the military sector, Intermarine is one of the leading world designers, builders and outfitters of Minehunters, special military vessels characterised by high-level operational and technical features. These extremely advanced and sophisticated vessels are the result of a long process by which the basic Intermarine design is perfected and tailored to the specific needs of the individual customer. Intermarine has already built 44 Minehunters, in 9 different configurations, for the Navies of 8 countries, including the USA, Finland, Australia and Italy.

In the military sector, Intermarine vessel production also includes patrol boats in composite material and aluminium for search and rescue operations, notably high-speed multipurpose boats (UNPAV), versatile and modern vessels that are also used to control maritime traffic and ensure security where there is a threat of asymmetric warfare.

In the civil sector, Intermarine produces Fast Ferries up to a maximum length of 70 metres, for the transportation of passengers and vehicles, and hydrofoils for passenger transport.
