The following is a Company Announcement by FIMBank p.l.c. pursuant to the Malta Financial Services Authority Listing Rules 5.16.5, 5.20 and 5.21.

FIMBank p.l.c. announces that in virtue of a resolution of the Board of Directors dated 11 December 2012, Mr Andrea Batelli is being appointed Company Secretary with effect from 1 February 2013, subject to regulatory approval.

Mr Batelli, of 49 Amery Street, Sliema, Malta joined FIMBank in June 2010 as Head of Legal. He is a graduate in Law from the University of Perugia, Italy and a qualified lawyer in Italy. He has fifteen years experience in the banking sector with a particular focus on trade finance. Before joining FIMBank, Mr Batelli occupied the position of Head of Legal Department and General Counsel at Banca UBAE SpA, Rome, Italy, where he acquired extensive international expertise and thorough knowledge of the Mediterranean, Middle and Far East markets.

In terms of Listing Rule 5.20.2 there is no matter to be disclosed. Furthermore, no matter concerning Mr Batelli requires disclosure under Listing Rules 5.20.5 to 5.20.9.
