EARNINGS GUIDANCE FIRST HALF - FINANCIAL YEAR 2022
EVZ Limited (ASX: EVZ) provides guidance for the half year trading period to 31 December 2021 (1H FY22).
Group revenue for 1HFY22 is expected to be between $28M and $30M (vs $29.8M in 1HFY21).
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) for 1HFY22 is expected to be between $1.4M to $1.5M. This is lower than the $3.4M EBITDA reported in 1H FY21 due to the $2.3M contribution in 1HFY21 from Jobkeeper, limitations in construction activity during the half due to COVID 19 pandemic lockdowns and the deferred start-up of several new projects, which are now commenced.
On 18 January 2022, EVZ announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Brockman Engineering, had received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Viva Energy to enter into an agreement for the design and construction of three thirty megalitre diesel storage tanks and associated infrastructure, with the total value of the project anticipated to be circa A$40M. Work has recently commenced on this project whilst the formal agreement with Viva Energy is being finalised.
This guidance is based on preliminary unaudited numbers. The final audited half year results are expected to be released to the ASX in the week commencing 14 February 2022.
