EARNINGS GUIDANCE
EVZ Limited (ASX: EVZ) provides guidance for the half year trading period concluding on 31 December 2019.
Earnings before interest, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) for the first half of financial year 2020 is expected to be a loss in the range of $1.2M and $1.6M due to incurrence of a provision for negotiated contract claims on a major Victorian tank project due to complete in second quarter 2020. Group revenue for the period is expected to be between $33M and $34M.
EVZ CEO, Scott Farthing said “Whilst we are disappointed with this result it should be noted that all three divisions of EVZ are currently trading profitably and with increasing work at hand we expect Group profitability to improve in coming periods as new projects commence"
The final half year results are expected to be released to the ASX in the week commencing 24 February 2019.
