The Manager Company Announcements Office Australian Stock Exchange Limited 20 Bridge Street SYDNEY NSW 2000
Dear Sir/Madam
Award of Contracts
EVZ wishes to announce that its Energy operation, TSF Engineering, has been confirmed as the lead contractor on the Melbourne Airport Tri-Generation Facility design and construction project. The estimated project value initially is $18 million with the design phase commencing immediately. The project is expected to span a two-year period. The contract is in two separable portions with separable portion 1 being the design phase and separable portion 2 being the construction phase. The construction phase is dependent on the successful completion and acceptance of the design phase.
TSF Engineering was also successful in winning the design, project management and commissioning of a Tri-Generation project at Fraser’s Energy Centre in Sydney. The contract value is initially for approximately $1 million with further work anticipated as the project develops.
In addition, EVZ’s Engineering operation, Brockman Engineering, has recently been awarded a contract with Caltex for approximately $4 million for piping work at its Newport facility.
Finally, in order to focus on its distributed energy offering, EVZ has sold its 50% stake in a generator hire business. EVZ realised the carrying value of its investment.
