– Continuous growth for Envirozel Limited Syfon Systems strategic expansion into the Queensland market

The Directors of Envirozel Limited (ASX: EVZ) are pleased to announce continuous growth within the EVZ Group with the imminent opening of a Brisbane office for the Syfon Systems business.

Adam Bellgrove Managing Director of Syfon Systems stated:

“The fully staffed office will be managed by long time Melbourne employee Mr Chris Blake and will provide Syfon Systems with a strategic base to further expand into the Queensland market. The move will assist the business in forming closer relationships with key customers, and it is expected to also provide significant savings via decreased transportation costs. A Brisbane office will enhance Syfon Systems tender opportunities for many upcoming Queensland projects, two of these being the Robina Town Centre expansion project and the Gold Coast Convention Centre extension.”

Mr Bellgrove further stated:

“The first half of the financial year has been very successful for Syfon Systems with over forty one projects secured in the first five months totalling more than $4 million. Recently awarded projects include the new home of the ANZ bank situated in the Docklands precinct of Melbourne, the Merrylands Shopping Centre in NSW and the Adelaide Show Grounds redevelopment.

With almost $5 million in forward orders (as at the end of November) the remainder of the financial 07-08 year seems certain to be as busy for Syfon Systems as the first five months. The company is confident that it will achieve, or exceed targets for both the Australian and the Malaysian operations.”

Syfon Systems Malaysian operation is exceeding targets, and work continues on prestigious projects such as the Kota Kinabulu Airport and Sunway Lagoon Shopping Centre. The business has also secured the first two stages of the First Solar project near the

Malaysian/Thailand border. Stages three and four have been approved for construction and Syfon are in a strong position to secure these contracts also.

To assist with future growth within the EVZ Group, Syfon Systems has recently increased its skilled workforce with the appointment of a designer, three plumbers and two apprentices in Australia, whilst in Malaysia a further two designers have been employed.
