CEO Appointment

The EVZ Board are pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Farthing as CEO of the Group.

Scott brings extensive business leadership expertise and engineering experience within the energy and construction industry segments and across the private, public and social infrastructure arenas.

Most recently, in his role as Managing Director of AECOM for Victoria and Tasmania, Scott was responsible for the development of the group within this region from a mid-tier consultancy firm to a leading top-tier advisory group.

AECOM is a global leader and Fortune 500 Company providing integrated professional, technical and management support services for a broad range of markets.

Scott lead the group from 2006 through a period of organic and acquisitive growth which saw the business grow revenue significantly and increase staff from 220 to 750. He previously was the Principal of the business formally known as Bassett which was acquired by AECOM in 2004.

Scott has a proven track record of driving and delivering strategy and in reshaping organisational culture and integrating new teams. In all his roles he has been at the forefront of innovation in the engineering sector.

EVZ Chairman, Max Findlay, stated “After an extensive search, the Directors are delighted to have Scott on board to drive the next phase of the EVZ strategy. His experience in the clean energy sector and his proven track record in producing high performance teams will ensure that EVZ has the appropriate leadership to deliver Group strategy and improved shareholder value. Scott will commence his appointment on September 24, 2012.
