Kristin Færøvik appointed new CEO at Bergen Group Rosenberg

Kristin Færøvik (48) has been appointed chief

executive officer of Bergen Group Rosenberg in

Stavanger. Færøvik has extensive experience from

senior positions within the offshore industry, most

recently as managing director for Marathon Petroleum

in Norway. Færøvik will be in place at Bergen Group

Rosenberg already on Wednesday May 19th 2010.

Engebretsen, who is also chairman of the board at

Bergen Group Rosenberg, characterize the company in

Stavanger as a very exciting and future-oriented unit

within Bergen Group.

Engebretsen.

The newly appointed CEO at Bergen Group Rosenberg is

market.

deliveries to the offshore industry since the 1970's.

challenges in the market, "said Færøvik.

Kristin Færøvik is a graduate from the University of

Trondheim (formerly NTH) with an MSc in petroleum

engineering. Færøvik has been associated with

Marathon Petroleum Company since 2003, initially as

Commercial Manager and later as Managing Director

with responsibility for the oil company's overall

activities in Norway. During this period, the company

completed several large and successful development

and construction projects, including the Alvheim

field and the Volund field. Færøvik also has an

extensive international experience from various

senior positions in BP - both in Norway and abroad.

The new Bergen Group Rosenberg top manager is resides

in Stavanger together with her family. She has

experience from a number of key positions within the

industry, and is now a newly elected deputy member of

the Corporate Assembly of Norsk Hydro ASA.
