Will Gardiner, Chief Financial Officer of Drax Group plc ("Drax" or the "Company") has notified the Company that on 1 March 2016 he purchased 20,178 ordinary shares in Drax at a price of 245.18 pence per share. 

Following this transaction, Will has a beneficial shareholding of 41,346 shares. 

This notification is in accordance with DTR 3.1.4 R and the transaction was conducted in London and was in respect of ordinary shares of 1116/29 pence each in the share capital of the Company of which there were 406,347,243 shares in issue at the time of the dealing.
