Dorothy Thompson, Chief Executive Officer of Drax Group plc ("Drax" or the "Company") has notified the Company that she has sold Drax shares registered in her own name and acquired the same number of Drax shares into her Self Invested Personal Pension.

The class of share subject to both transactions was Drax Group plc ordinary shares of 11 16/29 pence each.

The sale and purchase each took place on 3 October 2013.

The number of shares sold was 5,800 at 677.71 pence per share and the number of shares bought into Dorothy Thompson's HL Vantage SIPP account was 5,800 at 678.5 pence per share.

Following the transactions, Dorothy's beneficial shareholding remains at 99,753 shares.
